Here is my follow up to the twitter 101 video I made a while back. Don’t mind me walking into the quantum door at the end…

States of Running

For anyone who knows me, you know I run every day. By “every day” I mean every single day since January 12th, 2012. Yes, I have not missed a single day of running since that date and up through the time of this post. Many people ask what my minimum...
Virtual Library Activities: 1

Like many educators, I am doing my best to adjust to working remotely. To be 100% clear, I don't like it. I miss interacting with the kids. Nothing I am doing from home will ever replace or come close to replicating what I was able to while in my school...
eLearning: I’ve Got Questions
Posted on by stumpteacher
eLearning is a hot topic these days as teachers around the country are scrambling to help kids learn from home. I saw someone make the analogy to the astronauts on Apollo 13 trying to make do with whatever they could find laying around the space shuttle during their crisis in...
Making Libraries Relevant

This past summer I took part in a writing journey, unlike anything I had done before. I was joined by ten other educators with the sole purpose of writing a book for educators. Each one of us brought our unique teaching experiences and perspectives while focusing on the idea of...

THANK YOU for this!!! I'm a student teacher (in the last 4 months of my certification program) and knew Twitter had the potential to be powerful but couldn't quite figure it out. This was a great introduction for me – I'll be sharing it with my cohort!
Introducing teachers to twitter in next few weeks, will use this video, big help!
Thank you! Sharing this with my students on my wiki:

Thanks for the feedback…I hope it will help more teachers get on board with what is an amazing PD tool!
Josh, awesome movie! I will definitely share this with my PLC as they begin their Twitter journeys.
Thanks!
This was great! I knew that there was a "smart" way to use twitter, but just didn't know how to do it.
This was awesome! I knew that there was a "smarter" way to be using twitter, now I see the light. Thanks!
Thanks! I have been trying to get involved in Twitter to build a PLN….I see the potential through your explanations. Will try Tweetdeck – makes sense.
BTW: Love your video – very clever!
Josh – FANTASTIC! So glad I started following you this past week 🙂 Can I be an Uber-nerd and ask what program you used to create that?? I'd love to try something like that as well for a human body lesson.
Thanks!!
I did this all with a green screen some screen shots and a program called Pinnacle for all the editing.
you are so cool…
Thank you so much!!! I have been following twitter for about a month. Your blog is the first resource I have come across that really explains twitter. I am looking forward to trying Tweet Deck.
I know it's late in the game, but I loved your video. Very helpful and definitely something I will give a try.
What an awesome resource! I wish I had seen this video last week since I just spent the last 2 days presenting on SM with an emphasis on Twitter. I've only been Tweeting for about 7 weeks, so it's still new.
On another note, I also sponsor our middle school morning show. We have a green screen, but I'm going to check out Pinnacle-very unique video tool. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos!
I'm off to set up my Tweet Deck…
